This will give you some background on Erin Walker aka Tour Wife Travels and the Global Lyme Alliance. Erin and Global Lyme Alliance (GLA) are hosting a special event right her at WEF this weekend, to raise awareness and funds for Lyme disease.

Erin was recently named as a new GLA board member. Congratulations Erin! We know you'll do great things in this role.  

Awareness and funding of Lyme disease are more important than ever, with a record number of cases reported. According to the CDC there are 427,000 new cases of Lyme disease each year in the U.S. — a 30% increase from previous years. Many of those impacted are outdoor enthusiasts, pet owners, and children.

Through this event, the goal is to increase awareness of all tick-borne illnesses and to raise funds to support GLA’s mission to conquer Lyme disease through research, education and awareness. GLA funds cutting-edge research and education programs to advance the prevention, prompt diagnosis and effective treatment, to ultimately help patients.
